Polson, MT is located on the beautiful Flathead Indian Reservation in Northwest Montana.  Polson lies in a natural amphitheater at the south end of Flathead Lake. This charming lakeside community is the trading center for one of Montana’s most fertile farming areas. In a prime cherry growing region and home to numerous cherry orchards, Polson celebrates with an annual cherry festival. Winter brings the annual Polson Polar Bear Plunge!

Getting to town in the morning?  Park right in front of the Lake City Bakery and pick up their buttermilk cruller or maple bar – YUM!  A new coffeehouse is right on Main St, the Blodgett Creamery and has a very cool vibe.  At lunch, swing on back a few years in time at Betty’s Diner or, with reasonably priced faire, plus a pickle from the barrel, at the The Cove Deli & Pizza;  If you have room left, you can indulge after lunch with Montana-made Wilcoxson’s ice cream.  Hankering to just stay in the car and pick up a burger then stop in for take-out at Richwine’s Burgerville on Hwy 93 – a landmark in business ofr over 50 years.  Travel east out of town a few minutes and north up the eastshore of Flathead Lake for smokey tastes at East Shore Smoke House.
