Many Lakes is a wooded neighborhood in the Creston area SE of Kalispell and north of Bigfork.   Stretching over 250 acres, many of the lots front on small kettle lakes or hillside ridges.   The kettle lakes  that dot the area were formed by retreating glaciers .  Within the neighborhood there are 21 of these small bodies of water.  In a drought season these ponds can essentially dry up or just be more like a wetland meadow and after high snowpack they can fill to capacity.   Many Lakes is quite large and contains over 360 lots, some with mountain views to the east.  Access is off of Hwy 35.  Many Lakes HOA link.
