6 areas to fix up before selling

We often get the question from prospective sellers, “What do I need to do to get my home ready to show?”  First, if you ask that question, you better be ready to hear a little hemming and hawing from us real estate people.  And here’s why.  Its a touchy subject to comment on another person’s home.  I mean its pretty personal to critique one’s personal living space.  I’ve had clients get a little miffed that I might suggest putting away a few items off the coffee table.   To avoid that pregnant pause or any further mortification by a  client, here are 6 areas to “fix up” that are low cost but have great returns.  But in all seriousness the article is point on.  If you do all or most of these items, you should be in good shape to have a great “ready to sell” condition for your home that buyers will appreciate.
